User Reviews about Acer Aspire AS1410-8414 11.6-Inch Sapphire Blue Laptop - 6 Hour Battery Life
Had it for 2 months now. Two minor complaints: max volume is not very loud (I usually use earphones anyway), and I sorta wish I'd held out for Windows 7. Otherwise, I love it. Battery life, screen, keyboard, wi-fi are all excellent. -- 2 Small Shortcomings
I returned the Acer-Aspire for a refund because it's performance was slow and sluggish... it had a below-average level of multitasking which was hard to get used to... the other features were all OK and the long battery life was a plus. -- Slow Choice
Starts promptly, excellent screen definition makes it easier to view text and images on the small screen. Highly portable. I use this at work on battery power and get over 6hrs before even worrying about it. Seems to work just as competently as any other computer I've owned. -- All around great product
I'm not going to write book here about it - there's already alot of reviews. However, people always rate their new notebooks high for the 1st year of ownership. See what the ratings look like after people have owned it for over a year - that's when all the defects (if any?) emerge & depreciation takes its toll.
My main reason for buying this was the price $379 + tax. After about two years I won't be out much and can buy another one. My last notebook was $1600 then depreciated down to about $50 and wore-out after two yrs. So, that's not good! Besides liking the Acer's weight, battery life, Win7, temps, and design - the price makes it attractive & safe alternative. -- Excellent alternative Notebook (price vs specs)
